No matter what time of day I go into Fatz resturant, they are always positive. You enter the restaurant, two women smiling, calling you by name, asking how your day is, do you want a booth or table, just yourself or others, then you go sit, the waitress, is always friendly and smiling (only one time, she is gone), knows your needs before you ask, always checking to see if food is great or you need something else, the manager comes around to see if everything is allright, then you leave and they open the door again for you and tell you to come back. I feel appreciated at Fatz. That is why I eat there almost every weekday and on my way to VA to visit parents on weekends. You all have it going on. You are the best restaurant that has hit this area in a long time. AND you are staying true to your values. You give back to the community by partnering with schools. I am on the committee here in Greeneville called Partners in Education and they have partnered with several schools. I bring people to Fatz for business lunches and have always had great input from them about your food and hospitality. You all are the greatest!! Keep up the great work. I live in Athens, Ga but had never actually eaten at our Fatz Cafe. However this past weekend while traveling through Blairsville my boyfriend and I decided to try it out. We were blown away. The restaurant was so clean and the two entrees we got were delicious. Kristen was our server, and I would have to say from all the restaurants we've eaten out at she provided some of the best service we've ever received. She took the time to welcome us and explain different dishes on the menu which was very helpful. She was very friendly and attentive, stopping by asking if we needed any thing and promptly getting anything we did need. So I just wanted to comment on how we were very impressed by the restaurant in Blairsville and the amazing food we had, and say that the great service from Kristen just blew us away. We will be definitely be eating at Fatz Cafes many more times after having such a great experience at that one.

Just wanted to send a quick note of thanks to your team at the Bristol, TN location for a great night of food and fun! Ashley was our server and she went well above and beyond to meet and exceed our expectations. She was extremely pleasant and helped us with all requests throughout the meal. After being in the retail industry for 30 years, I know it can be difficult to find associates that are on top of their game at all times with a smile, but Ashley knows how to do this and she does it well. We look forward to seeing her and Dan (General Manager) on our visit next year. Please share our thanks and gratitude with her!

My husband took our 3yr old son to Fatz on my son's 3rd birthday. He mentioned it was his birthday off-handedly when seated. The staff all came out and sang happy birthday to my son, made him a birthday hat, a birthday card, a little cake and gave him some silly bandz as a gift. They made him feel so special! It's all he could talk about that night. Thanks so much to Philip, J.P., Stephanie, Tosha, Courtney, Kasey, Maegan and the rest of the Fatz crew. You truly went far above expectations and made my son's day extra special.

My family and I were leaving Myrtle Beach, SC and heading home to Ohio. When we had deceieded to stop and try this restaurant called "Fatz Cafe". WOW! To our liking we were greeted warmly when we opened the front doors. The Greeters, Servers, and Managment Staff were so welcoming. They were so excieted to have "first timers" back into their restaurant. The manager, Kelly Miller was soooo friendly and warm. Our server, was Tina, she was so friendly and helpful. They even had red napkins sent over to our table to let the server know that we were "first timers" to their restaurant. But the atmosphere was pleasant, home like, and everyone was so friendly and kind. Checking in on our table to make sure we were doing well and didn't need anything right away. The complimentary, favorite, Calabash chicken was so great. We also tried their famous, dinner rolls. These were fabulous too. The honey butter on the side was excellent. My husband and I had the World Famous Calabash Chicken dinner. That was the first time we had ever tried this dish. How incredible, tasty, and filling. The size of the platter was to so great. Plenty, enough for one, or to share with the hubby. The whole experience was wonderrful and great. I would come back anytime. We were sent off with a "Have a safe trip home" from all when leaving and a business card and menu of all the locations. So whenever we travel south again, we will definetly go to Fatz Cafe again, and again. Thank you for all your kindness, Kelly Miller, and your staff at the Camden, SC!

My family and I were traveling to Myrtle Beach and stoped for the evening and the Motel suggested Fatz. It was the nicest place I have been in for a long time, everyone was very polite, happy and friendly. Any time someone walked buy and saw an empty plate they asked if they could remove it, and they did. My wife stepped outside after dinner and the Manager Nang Nguyen took the time to have a nice, friendly conversation with her. There are no words that could express how nice it was to have dinner in such a nice atmosphere. If this is a reflection of all Fatz I know for a fact my next trip will include stopping at Fatz. This place deserves a award for service, and to top it off the Food was Great and plenty of it. Thank you for the experience

Had the best dining experience today because we had the BEST server ever! We took our 6 yr old to dinner at Fatz for his birthday (he turned 6 today) along with our 2 teenage daughters. Our server Robert was professional yet friendly to the kids. My son told us that it was "the best birthday ever!". A+++ for Robert

Last night my family and I went to Fatz Cafe in Winder, GA. We were celebrating my sister's 40th birthday. We had a great time, from the moment we walked trough the door. The service was great and the food was wonderful. It's never easy waiting on a table of 13, but our waiter knew what he was doing and made sure we had everthing we needed. Fatz Cafe has it together and we will be back soon.

This past Sunday, I was entertaining three out of town guests and I suggested Fatz for lunch. None of my guests had ever been to a Fatz before. The meal was very good as usual but the service we received from Josh was outstanding. I am sorry but I did not get his last name. I found the manager on duty, Dan Kleven, and shared this with him but I thought someone else higher up the corporate ladder should be made aware. Seldom in our world today does one receive outstanding service, but this past Sunday was a shining example. If I was in the restaurant business, I would have attempted to hire him away on the spot. I have two children that work in food service and I know how difficult the public can be. Atta boy Josh and keep up the outstanding service.

We took our family to eat at Fatz on 07/25/10 and wanted to take a minute to say that Chief and Mike make Fatz the restaurant that we want to eat at every week. I have known Chief (Rick Ward) and Mike for over 15 years and since they have started working at our local place of dining, our attendance is almost weekly. Everytime we are greated with big smiles and hugs as if to welcome us back as family. We look forward to our evenings at Fatz so that we can also visit with the great staff that have taken care of us for so many years. If all of your locations had people such as Mike, Chief and Pheebee (our waitress), then your company will out survive your competitors.

We had to compliment the entire restaurant because we couldn't pick just one thing. Our server Catina was excellent, we couldn't have ask for any one to have been better, she was very helpful. This was our first visit to a FATZ cafe, your manager Cari Loftis found out this was our first visit , she came to our table to welcome us there personally. She made us feel right at home. the food is excellent, we loved it we had to have a to go box. Your peach cobbler is out of this world. This may have been our first visit but it won"t be the last. Thank you for a special night out. Please pass on the word to your staff at Lenoir.

We just had our first visit to Fatz last night, and it was fantastic! We had Ann as our server, and she was very attentive despite the resturant being packed with people. When we were stumped about what to get, she gave us wonderful food recommendations. We came originally because we had been given a gift card to Fatz by some friends, but now we will most definitely come back again! The food, atmosphere, and overall service was 5 star!
Thank you all so much for a wonderful evening!

Every year my family and I make it a tradition to go to Tennessee and visit our family. We also make it a tradition to go to Fatz Cafe. Every time we go we leave there with nothing but great memories. The food at you company is so perfect. Not once have I had a complaint (not even about the associates). Leaving is bitter sweet, I leave there happy and very full but also sad because I know it will be a whole year before we would be able to go back. I spoke with the Manager at the Kingsport location, and he instructed me to contact you all. He also informed me that you were recently in the process of expanding, but due to the economy, this was not possible. I wanted to email you all and beg for you to consider expansion in Mechanicsville, Virginia.
The expansion would not only be of benefit to me, but also to you as well. Mechanicsville is a growing city. There are several restaurants in the area, but nothing with class like Fatz. We have Applebees, Ruby Tuesdays, etc but I truly believe that Fatz is very much needed!!!! It would get great business (by me especially). Also, if you even open a place in short pump town center, that would also get great if not better business. You have all the hospitals, office buildings, and shopping centers in this area. :)
So basically, I'm begging that you all consider this plea. Let me know what you think. P.S. the shrimp bisque is the best I ever had!!!! Take care!

First experience--will definitely repeat! Our server-Lauralee Murray was outstanding. As sr. citizens, my wife and I find that many portions are sufficient for the two of us. My wife and I visited your establishment this evening and had the most wonderful dining experience ever. We were greeted at the door by a gentleman named Mr. Rick "Chief" Ward and he immediately made us feel as if we were "Family". We also had the pleasure of meeting your wonderful server named Robin Hood. She was very personable, courteous and humorous. We ordered our food and when it arrived it looked very appetizing. After finishing our meal we were so pleased with the service, atmosphere and quality of food, we will definitely recommend to family and friends our new Fatz restaurant. In closing we would like to thank "Chief" for his warm southern hospitality. "Chief" and Robin made our dinning experience a memorable one. These people are what make this restaurant a success and will keep people like us coming back on a regular basis. Thank you again to the Staff at Fatz Cafe in Lexington, SC

Just wanted to let you know how enjoyable our visit with Fatz in Kingsport was. The food was great! I used my birthday coupon but asked if my calabash chicken could be prepared another way besides fried and it WAS wonderfully grilled. The side salads were full at a time when we're seeing a lot of restaurants scale back to just lettuce and carrots. The music is old favorites which makes the meal even more enjoyable. Our waitress met our every need and I tipped her accordingly. Just wanted to say that you are doing a great job and even though we live across town and don't often think of going to Fatz because of that, I definitely will now.

My family recently stopped at the Dublin, Virginia Fatz and enjoyed the most wonderful experience. Fatz continues to be our family's favorite place to dine. We even plan our trips around Fatz. During our latest visit, it was hard to tell what we loved most. The food was outstanding and the friendliness of its manager (Brooke) and our server (Ashley) were the greatest! We often recommend Fatz to all our friends. Thank you so much for such a pleasureable dining experience.

My family and I come here very often but have never had an experience like we did today. Irma Dickson is the best part of Fatz Café and truly touched our hearts. She made our time at Fatz very pleasant. When we saw her for the first time, she was walking towards our table to welcome us. Her heavenly personality just shined throughout her and the happiness we saw in her had already made our experience one in a lifetime. We feel so blessed to have met her and will be going back again soon, hoping to see her smiling face. Seeing and hearing her play the harmonica brought tears to my eyes. Not only was it beautiful to hear, but to see this sweet lady devoted, proud and happy was even more beautiful. She not only touched our day, she touched our lives.

Chelsea, our server, was fantastic. Despite the hectic pace on Father's Day, she attended to us and my wife's hearing impaired father with grace and genuine kindness. She was highly professional in her service, but with the utmost personal touch. She smiled, was engaging, and offered suggestions to make our meal even more wonderful. She was a delight and an asset to this restaurant and your company.

All we can say about our recent visit to Fatz Cafe in Blairsville, Ga is WOW, WOW, WOW!!!! We were so impressed from the moment we walked through the door and are still talking about the visit days later. The staff was friendly and attentive, the restaurant as clean as a whistle and the food prepared absolutely perfectly. Our server, Sam, gave us absolutely the best service we have ever had, bar none, and the impressive part was he told us he was going to when we sat down!!!! After asking us if we have ever eaten at a Fatz before, he treated us like we were the only folks in the restaurant and went through the menu with us. He said the Calabash chicken was your signature dish and after tasting the sample we can see why. It is the best. We often travel throughout the Southeast and have eaten in many restaurants. After our recent visit to Fatz we will be looking for you everywhere we go from now on, and you can be sure will be trying to find another restaurant with your standards for friendly people, cleanliness, and great food. Keep up the great work and we will DEFINITELY be back to see Sam when we are in Blairsville!!!!

Both of my parents are physically disabled, and we eat at FATZ almost every Sunday for lunch. Today, after putting our name in, I went back to the car. It's just easier to make one transition with my parents (my mom uses a wheelchair, and my dad has trouble getting up and down easily because he is an amputee). After a few minutes, it started raining a little, and my dad went on to the porch to stand and wait. Then the rain came pouring down! I knew the buzzer would be going off soon, and it was in the car with me and my mom - while my dad stood on the porch. So I called FATZ and spoke with Casey, the "To Go" person. I told Casey that I was kind of stuck in the car with my mom, and that the rain was pouring down. I also told him that my dad was standing on the porch....but that the buzzer was with me in the car! I asked him if it was possible for me to call him back when the buzzer went off, so someone could get my dad seated at a table. My dad is blind in one eye, and has very poor vision in the other eye. Without lots of light and magnifying glasses (plural), he cannot read text....and I knew that even when he got seated, he probably would not be able to order for us. So I asked Casey to take our order down, and to give it to the server once my dad got seated. (Both of my parents are insulin-dependent diabetics....so they need to eat "on time.") About 5 minutes after we made "the plan," the rain slowed down to a sprinkle. I quickly got my mom out of the car and headed to the porch! As soon as we reached the porch, the buzzer went off. We didn't even have to use "the plan." But it was nice to know that the good folks that work at FATZ were willing to help me out with the pickle I found myself in! The manager, Tammy Gass, is one of the sweetest people I have ever encountered! She always makes a visit to our table to say hello. The hosts/hostesses and servers are always very pleasant and accomodating to to help me with my parents. Here are just a couple of other examples of the special people at FATZ of Greeneville, TN. *My mom was in the hospital for a few months at the beginning of the year.....and one of the hostesses came up and asked me how my mother was doing. I don't even know her name, but she was paying attention....and it seems to be a rare occasion these days to find courteous people ....let alone people who show compassion and concern for people they don't know! *Last year, there was a short time period where my mother was trying not to use her wheelchair, but she needed lots of assistance. I was walking her to the bathroom, and her blood pressure dropped and she started to fall. I was able to "prop" her up against the wall while a server grabbed a chair for her. Before I knew it, I was surrounded by servers and hosts/hostesses offering their assistance. I do feel like a "regular" when I am at FATZ Cafe of Greeneville, TN. Ironically, I had eaten at FATZ just the night before for dinner with a friend. The server I had the night before was also working the Sunday lunch shift. She wasn't my server for lunch...but she saw me and made a point to come by and say hello. I just wanted to let someone know how great the folks are at FATZ Cafe of Greeneville, TN! :o) Kristi

I would like to say that just when I thought it couldn't get any better, it does. We had a server named Bronson that just made our dining experience very nice and relaxed. We got to our table in a very short time, and were greeted by the hostess, and then Bronson came up within a matter of a few minutes and he was very pleasant to talk to, and he kept checking back with us to see if we needed anything. I am very glad that we choose Fatz for dining. I had the Calabash Chicken, and it seems like every time I have it, it gets better and better. The time at which we were at Fatz was around 6pm on the 10th of this month. My wife and I will be going back again very soon. I am glad that you have a Fatz cafe in our area, Thank you for the standards that you have set for your restaurant and the waiting staff. From a very satisfied customer. Is there someway that you can give some recognition to the wait staff and the kitchen staff for such a wonderful dining experience? This makes about the 6th or 7th time we had such a good experience. I know it was more then that, I just can't remember how many exactly. Thank you again....

My Husband Mike and I made a stop in Columbia South Carolina on the way to Charleston SC, we were on vacation and we live in Long Island, New York, we had never ate at a Fatz Cafe before and were so pleased with our time there. We were greeted by a young lady name Yolando who held the door for us as we came in and were so impressed that she actually came outside to open the door and greet us so nicely. We were seated and our server, Brandy, came over to greet us, she was so nice, so welcoming and so friendly, she really made our first time at your Restaurant such a wonderful experience. We were not familar with the specialities and she explained everything to us and even brought us out a sample of your famous Calabash Chicken, which was delicious! We had a wonderful meal and truly felt Brandy who I believe has worked for your company over 12 years, was such a great representative and really showed how proud she was to work there and how much she loved her job. Brandy is a prime example of someone who really can make a difference in the dining experience by a wonderful friendly and kind atttitude always willing to help and making sure that the guest has the best possible experience ever! The food was wonderful and the service was outstanding! We were also visited by the Manager of the establishment, a Mr. James Johnston, what a wonderful friendly and kind individual, he also made us feel so welcome and so appreciated. How do get such wonderful people to work at your restaurants? Overall we cannot express enough our wonderful experience at your restaurant. Please thank each of these individuals for making such a difference in our luncheon experience. Very Best Regards, Christine and Mike

My husband and I had our first visit to a Fatz Cafe yesterday. I cannot say enough good about our experience, from the moment we entered until we left. We had several employees stop by to welcome us as first time visitors, the food was delicious and the cafe was very clean. We felt like very special customers from the way we were treated. The manager, Michael Turner, personally came by and introduced himself and ask about our visit, our waiter was John (he was new we found out), but he was very prompt and courteous. The food was hot and delivered in a very timely manner. You have definitely made a believer out of us and we WILL be back!v

I am writing this to Fatz to thank you, Fatz Cafe of Irmo, and Bruce Dressler. Bruce provided my family an opportunity to host a fundraiser for the Wayne Dawkins Foundation, which is a foundation I started to provide help to my father who was suffering from Stage 4 Cancer, and his family who are suffering from severe health and financial difficulties. Wayne supported his disabled wife, daughter, and two grandchildren. Bruce and I sat down and talked 6 weeks ago and set up the event. 2 weeks ago my father passed away, and we decided to move forward with the event due to the financial problems my family is still experiencing, along with funeral cost, and a 61 year old house that is falling apart. Thanks to Fatz and many friends and family, we were able to raise close to $5,000 dollars. Thank you Fatz, and thank you Bruce Dressler!

I would like to thank you for a wonderful dining experience. This was my very first time dining at FATZ. My hospitality leader was Amanda Demby she really made are day. She was simply wonderful. I dine out quite often I fine that in most place customer service has fallen by the waste side. I was so happy to fine a place that not only was clean and had wonderful food but the most important was the service we received from Amanda . We will return again. Thank you Amanda you made our day. I'll just get right to it (partly because I'm bad at pleasantries and partly for brevity). Yesterday my grandmother, two of her sisters, her brother and I went to Fatz for lunch, and while none of us have ever had a bad experience, the waitress we had was *phenomenal.* My grandmother has just had her gallbladder removed and is on a low-fat diet, and the waitress (whom I can only refer to as Tabitha; I didn't get her last name) sat with her and, with a kindness and patience that was above and beyond the usual call of duty, she explained not only every item on the menu, but every possibility of the items, and changes they could make for her. Even further, every time she checked on our table, she...well, she was just so completely nice, and not trivially. Not only was she the best waitress I've had at Fatz, she's the best waitress I've had anywhere. Like I said, it's not unusual to go to Fatz and get great service, but this was beyond my expectations, to the point that when I tell people to eat there I'll specifically recommend they get Tabitha.

I live in Rabun Gap, Ga. which is about 15 miles from your Franklin location. My wife and I enjoy dining at your establishment, the food is always excellent. On our last visit there, we had the privelege of being served by one of the best waitresses that I have encountered and I have seen a lot of them because I have traveled extensively every where from New York to California. This young lady's name is Stacey. It is obvious that she enjoys her job. Her personality is outstanding. She is very friendly and very knowledgeable and prompt to fulfill our needs and wants. She demonstrates the qualities that all employers would like to see from every employee. Too many times we are quick to complain when we receive substandard service but we are not as quick to give credit where credit is due. I wanted to let you know what a valuable asset this young lady is to your business. You are indeed fortunate to have her as an employee.

My husband and I along with 16 of our friends and neighbors (10 had never been to Fatz Cafe before) ate at the one in Lenoir NC. We had two waitresses who gave us excellent service in every way. The food was fantastic. I also want to commend the General Manager, Mr. Rob Taylor. He treated us like royalty. The newcomers were amazed with everything. We are planning another outing to this same Fatz again soon. Mr. Taylor and his staff azquired new business on May 29, 2010. Can't praise Mr. Taylor, the staff, the food, and the service enough.

Fatz performed their "A" game when my wife and I visited the Winds Crossing Drive, Charlotte, NC Cafe. Everyone was extremely courteous, helpful, provided a sample of their scrumptious chicken and at a very reasonable price. All aspects of our dinner was a rewarding experience. Our waitress was Cassandra Worrell and she made us feel right at home and was very informative as well as pleasant. Upon our return to our motel, we suggested that they steer all customers to Fatz for the most enjoyable dining experience.

I chose "Other" because I'm complimenting on more than one thing. First, the food was AMAZING!!! Absolutely delicious. Second, the atmosphere was fun, pleasant, and family-oriented. And third, the manager, Kevin, found out it was our first time at a Fatz and gave us a complimentary dessert. We were treated very well and were thrilled with our experience. We were visiting from Birmingham, AL and hope there will be a Fatz down here someday soon!! When we're back in Seneca, we sure hope to go to Fatz again--GREAT eats!! Thanks so much. :)

Just a note to tell you that our first ever visit to a Fatz Cafe was made extra special by the service provided to us by Kristina our server, and Kelly Miller who we assume was the hostess or the manager. The food was very good, but we were welcomed as old friends by these two employees and that was extraordinary. We will not hesitate to visit our closest Fatz at Myrtle Beach knowing that your company puts customer service first ! Thank you for a good meal and an enjoyable visit.

Even though it was the dinner rush, we were seated very quickly. Our waitress Hannah, was WONDERFUL!! She patiently answered all of my menu questions, and even brought us samples to try before we ordered!! I was extremely impressed with your restaurant, from atmosphere, to staff, to menu, to prices! Thank you for making my evening with my son and my first Fatz experience a positive one!!!

This was our first visit to Fatz Cafe--we were driving from Ohio to Florida. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Our waitress was SUPER, the food was delicious, atmosphere was great. Wish Fatz Cafe would build/open in our area. We'll look for your restaurants on all our trips and recommend (have recommended) Fatz to family and friends. The waitress's name is Gina and she's one in a million. Thanks much for the relaxing, enjoyable break in our journey.

My daughter and I absolutely love coming into this Fatz location! The staff is amazing and my daughter wants to go just to see them! They are so accommodating to us. Henry at the bar is her favorite server. We always request to sit in his section. Bo interacts with my daughter and she adores him. If it weren't for them, we would not be back each week. I am very picky and I am not the easiest customer to please. They get me anything I need with no hesitation. I want to thank them for doing an amazing job! My four year old tells everyone that she loves Fatz! Thank you for having a wonderful and approachable staff!

My friend & I were in Charleston for a brief vacation and tried Fatz and were very impressed.....great service, great food - the fish was delicious, and having been to Hyman's to eat, I thought it was just as good. Pat, our server, and Justin Young, manager, were most gracious. Our only wish was that you would open a Fatz in Texas. Please let us know when you all get closer. Thanks again for a delightful lunch experience.

Invited by friends, and had never eaten here. Food was good, and especially the great attitude of Janet Cole, Tim, Beth?, our server (Woman with carpel tunnel surgery). The host was great!! We liked the fish, chicken and burgers! I would say that if you are in a bad mood when going to a meal herein, they will live your spirits in joy! They can deliver great stuff.

Last night I had dinner with my mother and her husband at Fatz in Kingsport and the food was WONDERFUL, the atmosphere was laid back and relaxing, and our server, Heather, was by far one of the best I, myself, have ever had. I was a server for my entire four years spent in college and I know what it's like dealing with restaurant guests on a daily basis. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and never kept us waiting on anything! Fatz is definitely where I will be visiting the next time I am in town. And I hope Heather will be our server again. Thanks for the great time!

I had an experience at this location I felt obligated to send an email about . It was awesome. I was attending an affair at PC in Clinton. Fatz catered the even. Living in the small town of Ashland I had never heard of Fatz Cafe. The food was excellent and the staff was so courteous and respectful. It was scorching hot and they still managed to keep smiling. I am a retired professor at PC living here in Mississippi and decided to attend the event. But to make this as short as possible it was not that experience I am commenting on it was the experience I had Sunday morning the following morning. I was leaving my room at the Hampton in adjacent to Fatz Cafe when my car would not start I continuously tried over and over to the point of exasperation. I was sitting there with my head on the stearing wheel almost in tears when this guy came over and tapped on my window and asked if i were ok. I explained my dilemma. He said pop your hood and try again. I did...nothing he checked my fluids and said my oil was low. He told me he would be right back. He actually "walked " to the convenient store and purchased me two quarts of oil and some starting fluid. He put the oil in and sprayed the starting fluid on my engine. Still nothing. He said it sounded like I was out of gas LO and Behold I was. He then walked to the store again and came back with some gas and he put it in my car for me.Now the end of my experience is what really impressed me. I asked him how much i owed for what he purchased he said nothing maam. I said I am sorry I took you away from work and his response was "Well my owner always told me to what he would do in a situation if he wasnt there and this is how I think he would have handled it. I told him thank you. He said my pleasure. I said I am not even a a customer here never ate here before..He said well at Fatz Cafe everybodies a regular. Then he gave me the number to Fatz and said if you have any trouble and you are close call Fatz and ask for Leonard and I will come and help. Well Leonard thank you so much and if you ever in Ashland Mississippi look me and my family up because you gave me one of the greatest examples of concern and giving to strangers I have ever had in all my 63 years. God Bless You.

My Aunt and I had the pleasure of visiting your establishment for the first time. Our server was Rochele, under the visiting Manager Travis Keen. I have to tell you we were treated like royality being first time visitors we got a red napkin at the end of our table and were brought samples of food and desert. Also when I found the the marinade on my steak a bit much the manager graciously brought me out another steak free of charge. The service was never lacking and they constantly made sure everything was to our liking. I would highly recommend your establishment to all my friends and family and can not wait to return myself. I hope you would let that business and the employees know what a wonderful experience they provided. They should be praised for a job above and beyond their job descriptions.

I experienced a Fatz Cafe for the first time last week and wanted to let you know what a great experience I had. I was in Geargia for a couple of days while visiting from Canada. The service we received from Kristina at The Pooler location was great as was the service from Joel (the manager). The food was also excellent and Kristina packaged up some poppy seed rolls in a to-go box for us to take back to Canada. They made it back here and a few other people have had the pleasure of tasting these great rolls.
The slogan you use "where everyon's a regular" is very acurate. I was only at the restaurant for about an hour and both the staff and the other customers were chatting with us like we had been there several times.
I am travelling back to Georgia with my family in May and will try and make sure that I visit Fatz Cafe in Pooler once again.
Please pass on my thanks to Kristina & Joel at The Pooler location for a great experience.

Were sending this on an iPhone. Did you know that a glass of wine and a plate of honey chkn nachos is a perfect meal!!! For 10 bucks!!
Anyway. Just wanted u to know, you've got some new Fatz fans. You make life on the road a little easier.

My family and I had just driven approx. 3 hrs. from Myrtle Beach for spring break. My husband and I wanted to sit down and enjoy a hot meal. We saw a sign that read Fatz Cafe and decided we'd like to try it, we missed the exit, but turned around. The Cafe was just opening. We were greeted and seated by a friendly hostess with a beautiful smile. A waitress with an outgoing personality came over to inform us about the special of the day and the rolls that she would be bringing. Since it was our 1st visit she would allow us to sample the chicken tenders. Chief came over and spoke with the entire family as if we were long time customers, bringing more samples. We were so satisfied by the time our meal came we needed to box the food. Too full for dessert which was a desire of mine the minute I saw the menu. Chief of course being that special person he is, sent over peach cobbler a la mode. I can not even remember if ever we have received such hospitality. My words will never express how impress my girls ages 10 and 13, my husband and I felt the entire time. We felt like celebrities, we got attention from everyone. Every person that walked in the door seem to be coming home for a meal. All of the kids that entered the door were happy to be at Fatz Cafe in Lexington. I must say you have the right man for the job. It is easy to see that the staff is happy. My family and I had a terrible dinner experience the night before leaving Myrtle Beach and were really hungry. There is no better place to have gone than Fatz Cafe. Thank you for employing such a man as Rick "Chief" Ward. The food and service were impeccable

We had never been to a FATZ Cafe. When I asked our server Elizabeth about where the restaurant started, she told me SC. When she learned this was our first visit, we were treated like royalty. She brought us a sample of the house speciality, calabash chicken, and after we finished our meal, she brought us a serving of the peach cobbler to share. The food was delicious; the service divine. The manager Cari gave us a take-out menu before we left. This was a first visit to a FATZ, but it will not be our last. And we'll be telling all our friends!

This compliment is one that should be shared with all Fatz Cafes and all management. Fatz Cafe in Kingsport, Tn. knows what it takes to satisfy its customers and keep them coming back time and time again. My husband and I frequent the Kingsport store and why? There are MANY reasons. From the time we enter the restaurant, we are remembered and treated like friends. It first begins with the host, Dale, who talks with us each and everytime. It continues with the manager who went out of her way tonight to be sure we could be seated with one of our favorite servers and believe me, we have our favorites. Their names are Eric and Nikki. Eric and Nikki go out of their ways to welcome us They are also willing to go that extra "little bit" to make their customers happy and feel important. Small little things that don't cost the company much at all, but bring the customer back again and again. Things like knowing that you prefer 2 dressings with your salad, or bringing extra bread and not bringing dried out, burnt bread that they wouldn't eat themselves, bringing extra lemons for your water or tea. We NEVER have to ask either of them for anything. They know what we need before we do. These are the things that a restaurant should be concerned with and in the long run it will always pay off. Thanks for allowing your servers the freedom to be concerned with the customer and not the dollar. My son is a server at another restaurant chain and I know from his experience that managers come and go, just like servers, but those who are successful are the ones who listen to their employees and customers and who are willing to add the "little things" that make a difference. A happy server makies for happy customers. Kingsport's Fatz Cafe could be a training facility for other restaurants. They seem to have their priorities in order and we hope that they don't change the way they have been doing business since the time they opened. The economy may slow things down and other restaurants may enter into the competition, but in the long run, the restaurant that is willing to give that personalized touch to it's customers is going to prevail long after the others. My husband and I not only visit the restaurant ourselves weekly, but we also invite friends and family to come with us. It's our number one restaurant of choice. Keep up the good work.

Had never been to Fatz before and had heard good things about the food so we decided to go for dinner. Everyone was friendly, courteous, very professional yet personable. Our waitress, Kasey, was EXCELLENT!! It had been a long time since I had gone to a restaurant and received WONDERFUL customer service. Her personality is terrific. She was very knowledgable about the menu, she kept check on us, and w/o being asked kept our glasses filled, the bread coming, and if we looked low on anything she brought it right out to us. Kasey made our first experience a great one and the food was delicious to say the least. We had such great service and food that we went back for a late lunch the very next day. Fatz is officially my favorite restaurant.

After a long day of slow, tied-up, frustrating travel; two very tired, grumpy old ladies entered your establishment with the attitude that 1) we didn't want to eat in a place called ""Fatz" and 2)we wanted to just eat and get out of there as soon as possible. Thank heavens for Wes Freeman, the manager, and Aaron, our server, who immediately took us under their wings and turned our whole experience at Fatz into a welcoming, relaxing, feeling cared for, evening. We were given samples of your signature chicken to try, hot fresh coffee was in front of my mother almost before she could ask, our meals were served by Aaron in a pleasant, timely fashion. Yes, there were smiles on our faces at last, and the day was not a total disaster after all. Kudos to Wes, Aaron, and the Fatz organization for creating a relaxing, warm retreat from the grind of interstate travel. Thanks, guys, and we WILL be visiting again in the future.

My wife and I came to Charleston to see if we wanted to buy a home in the area. We have never been to a Fatz before. When we walked in we were greeted by three different people. They all smiled and said welcome. When we got to our table our server came and greeted us. She saw we had a red napkin and then welcomed us to Fatz for the first time. She was awesome. Sometimes servers do not talk to you. They just take your order. She made us feel special. One thing I would love to say is that she told us about the area and kind of told us where to go looking for a house. Our server was Jennifer. She told us that we should say her last name begins with a C. During the rest of our stay we came by 2 more times and had Jennifer wait on us. We will be back. And hope that Jennifer will wait on us again. One thing that was also great was when Jason (GM) came by to ask how everything was. You normally do not see managers unless there is a problem. Nice touch.

First I would just like to say WOW! This was my first visit to Fatz and your Manager Lou and my server Krystal definitely made me a "Raving Fan" over Fatz Cafe! Wonderful Customer Service, Smiles, Great Food, Great Quality/Quantity/Prices. I reside in Newport News, Virginia. I wish that there was a Fatz near me. It would be so nice if your company gave some thought if not already to expanding to my area. These days it's really hard to find quality customer service. Again I can't say enough about what a wonderful visit this was as I was just visiting the area and heard about your restaurant and I am so glad that I took advantage of dining here. Please tell your team to keep creating "Raving Fans" it will keep your business thriving for years to come!

I thought customer service was a thing of the past until getting a server (Eric) he was wonderful. In the past, Fatz had been a place I dined maybe a couple times a year, it will now be a place I will dine a few times a month. The food was great, but the service was excellent. The service I get in a restaurant means more to me than anything.

Decided to bring my two nieces for lunch today. This was their first visit, but I am a regular. We were totally blown away from the time we walked through the front door. We were immediately greeted and sat promptly. It was a tough decision what to order especially for my nieces. Our server was Dawn and she did an exceptional job. We met Ed who was very warm, friendly and helpful. Normally when I visit Janet will stop by my table, dut I didn't see here. Dawn told me she was coming in later that afternoon. Much to my surprise, before we left Janet came to our table for a brief visit as she met some friends there for lunch. How sweet to actually take time out of her personal off duty time to say hello. I can not brag enough on these 3 extraordinary individuals that make the Conway location what it is. Just then we were WOWed by Ed who brought some of your awesome, homemade peach cobbler.
My nieces left in amazement of the entire experience and stuffed. They were excited to tell their parents and return again soon with them. A special THANK YOU to Dawn, Ed and Janet for making this a lunch we will never forget. Keep up the great work and all of you will go far!

My girlfriend and I came to the North Charleston Fatz Cafe and had the most pleasant server. He said yes m'aam no m'aam, my pleasure...etc.... You don't hear that very often anywhere. At the end of our meal we decided to splurge and get dessert. Jason took that extra step and split our dessert on two plates. Normally you get two spoons. I loved this because I am super weird about sharing food. Jason should be commended on his great service.

I made my first visit to Fatz Cafe tonight while visiting my parents in Conway, SC. I couldn't choose a category because *everything* was outstanding! The restaurant was clean and provided an attractive atmosphere, and the food was absolutely top-notch! Our server, Rebecca, and manager Janet Cole went FAR above and beyond to make sure that I was properly introduced to Fatz. They (along with a male hospitality staff member whose name unfortunately escapes me) have insured that I *will* return to Fatz at every opportunity. You don't have a restaurant in my small KY town, but I have located one about two hours away in TN, and consider it well worth the drive. I appreciate good food and good service, but I can honestly say that my experience tonight tops ANY other! Thank you!! I look forward to visiting more Fatz, but especially to my next trip to Conway!

We usually eat at Fatz in Cheraw, SC about 3 or 4 times a month. Fatz in Cheraw is by-far the best Fatz anywhere. The food is always prepared as ordered and delicious. The facility is clean, inside and outside. The STAFF is what makes this restaurant stand out. Each employee works as if they owned the place...striving to ensure your visit is as pleasant as can possibly be. The entire staff is friendly and seem to truly love their job. If you could clone those employees...staff and cooks...and put them in all your establishments, it would be GREAT!

With living in Myrtle Beach, we literally have the option to pick from thousands of restaurants in a very short distance. We had the occasion to be in Conway for business and stopped at the local FATZ. In the years we've been down here, and the amount of restaurant employees we've met, we both have to say that Lucy at the Bar and Mike who was there helping out, were, the most personal folks we've ever met. The food was outstanding, but there's great food down here everywhere. What will bring us back time and time again, are the employees you have working for you. And between Lucy and Mike, you have two of the finest people we have met in four years of dining in the Myrtle Beach area. Thanks for great food, but the help makes all the difference in the world as far as we're concerned.

Robert Scheffler spoke to my business class on 3/24 and did a fantastic job! He explained and emphasized the importance of today's youth gaining knowledge of "Employment Skill" desired by businesses of today. He was so informative and motivational! The students made many positive remarks on how much they enjoyed the presentation, and especially having the opportunity to practice their interview skills with Mr. Scheffler. We are so fortunate to have businesses such as "FATZ" in our community. Thanks so much!!!

This is a copy of the email I sent to the managing partner of that location: Dear Mr. Anderson, So many times people write letters concerning the negative aspects of their visit to a particular location, this is not one of those letters. Let me start off by saying that I am the chief executive officer and owner of a mystery shopping company based in Florida. Myself and another business associate were traveling from a meeting and noticed the Fatz Cafe signs along I-85. We decided to stop at the location at 6750 Pottery Road in Spartanburg, SC. From the moment we entered the location 'til the time we left, the service and food we received were both excellent. Our server was Evan and she exemplifies the standards that many of my clients strive for. She was upbeat, friendly and professional at all times. She anticipated our needs, explained the menu and offered suggestions to compliment our meal. I would hope that you recognize what an asset you have in her. A manager visited our table as well and he also did a great job acknowledging that we were first time guests. I only wish that you had locations here in Florida because I've become a raving fan after one visit.

Our family loves Fatz Cafe. Everything about this restaurant is great. The food, atmosphere, friendly staff, etc. But I am writing to specifically let you know how much we appreciate how accomodating the children's menu is - having healthy choices is wonderful. Our girls usually have the salmon or shrimp and when we ate lunch on the 21st, our Waiter, Angie P. was excellent. She was so professional, so pleasant, very accomodating to the children's wishes and just an all around outstanding waiter. We always love Fatz, but Sunday's service was exceptional. Just wanted to let you know.

I have been going to this Fatz since it opened...for years. I have never had a bad experience here. There is something in your motto about this place being like home...it is. My family likes to have our food the way we want it. There has never been anything we could come up with that even slightly fazed our wait staff, and that wait staff has changed a lot over the years. I have to assume it's the management.

My husband and I would like to comment on the wonderful service we receive starting from the moment we walk through the door. We are always greeted with a smile and a liittle friendly conversation as we are shown to our seats--"HOW HAVE YOU BEEN--MISSED YOU LAST SUNDAY, etc. The waiters and waitresses are eager to get our orders and make sure we have everything we need. Scooter and Heath always come by our table to say hello and make sure everything is running smoothly. They make us feel like part of the Fatz family. It is a pleasure to dine with them. The food is good and the atmosphere makes me feel right at home except I don't have to cook. I just wanted to say thank you to Fatz Cafe in Greeneville Tn. Me, my husband, and my two sons came in for dinner and my waitress, Shelly, absolutely blew me away. She was very sweet and she really knew a lot about the menu. My son wanted a shrimp and ribs meal that was not on the menu anymore, but she knew exactly what he was talking about and had it made for him even though they no longer advertise it. I thought that was really great. She answered all the questions that we had, and believe me, there were quite a few. I admit that we are kind of a difficult family to take care of, but she did a wonderful job, and she was happy to do it. You can tell when you are getting on the waitress's nerves but she never seemed upset. She was without a doubt the best waitress that I have ever had, and I will definitely be back as long as she is there. All of your employees should strive to be as good as her.

I received an email about the happy hour and the prices on the beer were just what I was looking for so my friend and I came in and sat at the bar. We didn't plan to stay long but the bartender was so sweet and friendly we ended up staying a few hours on a Thursday night and it was busy, and she was taking care of a lot of people and still made sure we had what we needed, not only did she keep a smile on her face but she stopped to talk for a few whenever she could. It's rare for me to send an email about "Outstanding " service but when it's due, I have to take the time to send one. I contacted the location in Pooler and spoke with Kristina, informed her that we have one hour for lunch and asked if we could place our food order and, if she could provide seating for 11 people in advance. She stated no problem, took the orders, repeated the orders to ensure they were correct and asked what time we would be arriving. When we arrived, not only did we not have to wait, our table was ready and our food was being brought out and placed on the table as we were being seated. Kristina, Joel and Connie were the best of the best. Anytime we needed something they were there to assist and came to ask if we were okay and/or needed anything. No one gave the impression of being frustrated with a huge group at lunch time, it was more of making us feel welcomed. We were in Pooler for a meeting and are in the area about once every two months. This FATZ is our place to come for "Great food" and "Outstanding" service. I think they should all receive some type of recognition for the service they delivered today. I work within the Customer Service industry and it's been a long time since I have been to an establishment that has provided this type of service. Again, thank them all for everything.

My husband and I just returned from lunch at the Rockingham Fatz Cafe and I felt compelled to let you know what an enjoyable experience it was. Our waitress, Nicole, was so nice and helpful and she made our dining experience wonderful. Nicole gave us menu options and was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. Nicole explained the E-club and we completed forms to join the club. I have eaten at Fatz many times, but today was special. Nicole made it special by being so nice and cheerful. I wanted to compliment Mike the manager, Ra'Shin Akins, and the staff at the WR Fatz Cafe who worked so hard to assist us with an American Cancer Society Relay for Life fundraising breakfast at their site this morning. Mike and Ra'shin were especially helpful and very courteous throughout a very early morning and a lot of hard work. Kudos to these two staff and the wait staff who came in at dark to help with this cancer fighting event!!!! I personally received many compliments from those in attendance on both how nice the event was and how wonderful of FATZ to help sponsor the fundraiser. Several said they had never been in a Fatz Cafe before and would return for a meal! Thank you to Corporate for allowing your Warner Robins Georgia staff to assist us in the fight against cancer....you made many "friends" for the cafe today!!

I had the best Fatz Cafe experience EVER at the Forest Drive location, here in Columbia. I have never been to a restaurant anywhere that gave me the type of service I received on Friday. It was ironic because shortly after I arrived I realized I had arrived approx. 15 mins before closing time, so I expected to get half-decent service because it has been my experience at other restaurants that attitudes get a little bit edgier closer to closing time. Well I am literally at a loss of words to describe the extent of service I received on my recent visit. The atmosphere was so welcoming, I felt like I had walked into the dining room of a close friend, rather than a public restaurant with complete strangers. The employees worked together more like a family rather than co-workers.Everyone was so friendly and I want to specifically praise my waiter. His name is Brian, and he is the absolute BEST!! He provided service like a psychic, before I had to ask for something he already had it at my table. I have never had a waiter as friendly and helpful as him. He made sure that although it was closing time, we felt like we had come at the start of business. Brian went above and beyond his duties to ensure that my friend and I had a pleasant dinner. Brian did not go the extra mile for the customer, he went an extra 10 miles for the customer. I will definitely be going back to this location, especially if he's working!!

My wife and I visited Fatz last evening and our server was Julie Upright. She is to be complimented for her love of her job. Julie constantly smiled and was very friendly. You can tell Julie loved her job and knew how to treat customers in your Cafe. She checked on us several times and always had a smile and upbeat voice. Too many times people complain and not enough compliments get through. My wife and I have made it a point to make the managers at restaurants aware of the assets they have when we dine there. These are some of the hardest working people and they endure a lot during their shift so when praise is sue, praise is given and Dan the manager was given praise last night for one of his employees. He has some great people working for him.

My experience at Fatz Cafe tonight was EXCELLENT!!! My Party and I started out with Hiedi, after we requested to move from one area by the front door, we then had Whitney as a server. During our time in Hiedi continued to check on us. During our meal, I started writing on a napkin. Before I even took notice, Brittney had came to our table with a blank piece of paper and a pad for me to write on. In this being the second time that I have been to Fatz (the first time was Sunday), I notice that every employee was very personable to eveyone who entered in to the building. I made a request to speak with the Manager on duty tonight (JP), just to let her know that all of her employees were doing a Great job. Esspecially, the ones that I and my party had interaction with.

As a frequent customer to Fatz not only in Lenoir NC but many other locations because of business travels, I was quite impressed with the server that waited on my family on Friday night. Her name was Carrie Greer. She had such a positive attitude and did her job well. She always smiled and had a great attitude no matter how many times we asked her for something. Also the manager Cari Loftis stopped by our table and checked to make sure everything was going good. When my wife started telling her about the service we were getting, Cari started telling us what the company expects on service and that she appreciates when someone compliments an employee because she wants to let them know. Living in Lenoir you get very poor service at most establishments. The food is so so and the atmosphere is bad. Fatz seems to be doing much right as we prefer to take all of our business clients from out of town there and they are frequent. Thanks for placing importance on the customer and the positive influence you bring to the community.

Congratulations to Bruce Dressler, Irmo. He runs a great store, however his willingness to serve as a community funraising facility is truly wonderfull. He helped our friend, who needed a kidney transplant raise almost $2,000.00. for his translplant. It was a fun morning of food, fellowship, and joy, thanks to his efforts. When we visit his store, which is once a month, he is out and about with customers, making sure all is well, and just his greetings are uplifting and a refreshing experience. Hats off to Bruce. There are not many in retailing like him.

I would like to tell you how pleased I am to be a regular customer of Fatz Cafe.........again. I work at a local doctor's office here in Orangeburg. I came in to pick up to go lunches for my co-workers and I. I don't know if you all were just busy that day or what but the order was not correct and when I called back about it I received unsatisfactory service. I vowed never to return. A short time later, Teresa Heyward came into our office. I noticed she had on a Fatz shirt, and I explained to her about the service I received. Teresa was very apologetic and also gave us a free lunch to make up for the mix up. Since that time my co-workers and I have returned to Fatz as regular customers.
Teresa is a prime example of what customer service should be like and I felt I had to make you all aware of how she is such an asset to your company.

I dined in your restaurant earlier this week and had the most wonderful experience I've had in a restaurant in a very long time. I was greeted warmly by the young ladies at the front door and quickly greeted by my server, I believe her name was Tina. She was so friendly and inviting, she had my family laughing and feeling welcomed the entire time. The food was AMAZING!!!! I couldn't believe every bite was so delicious and tasty. Tina was the most fantastic waitress I have ever had in a long time and she checked on us to make sure we were well taken care of. But the most interesting part of the night is when the Manager Krystal came by to check on us and wanted to know how our evening was going. She is a very pleasant and joyful person. Once we realized that she genuinely cared about our dinner, we began talking about Fatz and she was a fountain of information about the company. My friends and I travel a lot and we will be sure to look for a Fatz to get that type of food and service again. Thanks again to the host, Tina, and Krystal for their awesome personalities and professional service. We will be back again and again and again!!!!!

He was very helpful with all of the instructions and wanting this to be a fun experience. I visited FATZ on Friday night for dinner after an event at my church! I must say that this has been the best experience by far in any restaurant in Columbia, SC. Upon entering, I felt right at home. The greeters were nice and greeted you as soon as you entered and the restaurant was spotless. Cleanliness of the restaurant is most important but my waitress is the next most important during any visit. Jessica was my waitress and I want everyone that works at FATZ to know that she is awesome! She was very knowledgeable of the menu and most attentive to her customers. Our meal was delivered promptly and she did an excellent job of making sure we were satisfied. I have no doubt that customers she serve is most important to her. Way to go FATZ in Irmo, SC for hiring Jessica!!! Because of the aforementioned, I will return!

This was my first experience at Fatz- and I want to commend the staff at the Clinton Fatz Cafe. We were greeted warmly at the front door. The service was efficient and friendly. Paula Phillips came to our table and was exceptionally personable. She told us how we could "design" our own meal- and I ordered rice and grilled veggie skewers...absolutely delicious! We had a wonderful "down home" experience and truly felt like family (and didn't even have to do dishes!!). Thanks to everyone at the Clinton Fatz!

My husband and I visited your location for dinner on Wednesday, 1/27/10, and I must say the hospitality started at the front door. There were two hostesses at the door (Lauren and Renae, I believe that's what they said their names were)...they opened the door for us with smiles on their faces. You know it's not often you find that anymore. Anyway, we sat down at our table, and Mary Kate introduced herself. The hospitality continued. We ordered the Nachos as an appitizer and they were great. One of my pet peeves is my glass going empty, and Mary Kate never let that happen. Our meal was just as good...ya'll have the best chicken. Props to whomever was cooking your fried chicken that night. Anyway, I know that sometimes you only hear the bad, but just wanted to let you know that ya'll are doing something right. Thanks.

He remembers our names. Our guests thought we were rock stars or something. Warren is a class act and his staff as well. Will there be a location in Atlanta soon? IT WOULD BE A DISSERVICE TO SPECIFY ONLY ONE THING POSITIVE ABOUT MY VISIT. I was in town from Michigan with family. From the time my party entered until the time we left, we felt very welcome and comfortable. Our waiter, Randy, was awesome--polite, attentive, and had a positive customer-first attitude. We tipped him 40% and I rarely ever do that!! The manager, Fred, greeted us warmly and when we told him we had driven from Conyers to eat there he comped our dessert, which was an especially nice surprise! I would recommend the Winder, GA Fatz location to anyone! Thanks so much!!

As the organizer of the FIRST pancake fundraising breakfast at the Fatz Cafe in Shelby, NC I want to say thank you!
Sure, a special THANK YOU goes out to each of the businesses and individuals who donated items for the raffle, volunteers who showed up at 6:45am, volunteers who came later to help clean up, caring people who came with empty bellies to eat pancakes :-0 ...BUT most importantly Byron Sackett and David Beaver of FATZ Cafe in Shelby.
Thanks to the kindness of these two men (along with Susan and other Fatz employees) we raised around $6,000 for a dear friend, Marilyn Heston, who is battling cancer for the second time at the age of 34.
Marilyn is a dedicated wife, autism advocate, and the mother of an 8 year old son with autism and a 4 year old princess. The money that was raised will help offset her costly medical expenses and let her and her husband rest a little easier at night.
This was the first breakfast that FATZ Cafe of Shelby has ever held and they did an excellent job! Everything ran smoothly and from what I understand it was one of the most successful the company has hosted! The benefit was held on my birthday and what a birthday it was! I cannot even begin to tell you how much I appreciated them opening their doors (and their hearts) to support such an important cause.
Everyone who stepped foot into Fatz of Shelby that day had something good to say...from how yummy the pancakes were to how nice it was that Fatz assisted us in making this event happen. Some of the volunteers enjoyed it so much that they asked me today when we're doing another breakfast at Fatz! How's that for a good first impression?
I will have to say that David Beaver may be hearing from me....and some others I know very soon! We are trying to figure out which of our non-profit groups will book the next breakfast!
HATS OFF TO BYRON SACKETT, DAVID BEAVER, SUSAN, and staff at the FATZ CAFE in SHELBY, NC.
They truly embrace the meaning of being a good neighbor and making everyone a regular (even if it is the first time they have them over for breakfast!)

I always order my steak "burnt to a crisp and like a hockey puck" but I rarely and I emphasize rarely, ever find someone willing to do this. However, the last time I was in Fatz in Dublin, my steak was burnt to perfection and I must say that it was the best steak I have ever gotten at a restaurant. I ordered the cider marinated sirloin and it was the BEST! Ialso found the GM, Tracy Febro, to be top notch in providing assistance and in friendliness. Fatz in Dublin is a great place to eat and I would recomend it to anyone!

Fatz of Lexington just had a pancake breakfast for my daughter. She is a student ambassador, and will be traveling to Australia this summer. The manager, Jeff, was very accomadating and welcomed us very graciously. He showed us exactly what to do and helped along the way. Jeff has a great personality, and is pleasant to work with. We had a party of ten last night and I felt that two co-workers, Randy and Simon were two of the top notch waiters that we have ever had. We eat at a lot of steak houses, etc and we have never experienced such top notch, outstanding service than we received at Fatz in Winder, GA. We had guests in from New York and they were overwhelmed by such friendly, nice, courteous waiters. They went over and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our dinner and we never had to ask for anything. They were always a step ahead of us. When we arrived, they tried to make room for the ten of us to sit together and we were really cramped in a booth with chairs and they told us if the other space opened up, we could move over to that section and it did open up and they both came over and helped us move to the larger space. In today's world, thanks is not always given to people that go over and beyond to make their clients welcome. Will we all return to Fatz again, Yes, we will be eating at the Fatz in Winder again and less at some of the other restaurants that we eat at. The food was very delicious and we were served generous portions, even on the "Kid's Menu" as we had an 8 yr old and a 10 yr old. They both ordered from the "Kid's Menu" and they had to take some home as the portions were so generous. You have earned 10 new customers, even the two from New York. As they travel, when they find a Fatz restaurant, they will definitely stop and eat. Again, Simon and Randy made our dinner at Fatz so enjoyable. The 10 of us felt that you are very fortunate to have these two young men working for you and we wanted to make sure they were given recognition for such outstanding service and such great public relations. In fact everyone that we came in contact with at the restaurant was super nice, friendly workers. Winder, GA Fatz restaurant should be commended for their efforts in hiring people that make sure each and every client is special. We all all looking forward to our next visit and yes, we will ask for Randy & Simon

We just got home from our dinner and wanted to let you know about our great service. We were out with friends so there were four adults and three small children. Our friends' child is a two year old boy, enough said. My family and I have never had the pleasure of a dining experience like the one we had at Fatz Cafe. We just moved here from Colorado and were dining at Fatz for the first time. Immediately we felt warmly welcomed. Our server, Mike, was very considerate and attentive by making sure drinks stayed full, food was tasty and that we were taken care of....I know this sounds standard for any server...but he and the other staff were truly concerned our experience was enjoyable. It was as though they were serving dear family that they wanted to make feel especially cared for. The manager, Justin Young, visited our table and went the extra mile to find out about our family and even refilled drinks personally. He also sent a plate of calabash chicken samples for us to try. At Fatz Cafe, the staff was what I have always pictured true Southern hospitality to be. Thank you for taking such good care of us, we will be lifelong diners :) ....just a side note, but I was truly impressed that the food came out looking just like the pictures on the menu. My family and I were traveling from Myrtle Beach SC to Atlanta GA and the kids were begging to stop, we told them to wait until we got into Columbia where we would have more to choose from. Well as we got to Exit 98 they saw the Fatz Cafe sign and we stopped. Never have we been treated so kindly. We were greeted at the door in such a pleasant manner and then we had the nicest waitress. Our waitress Jacquetta treated us so well and trust me when I say we ran her back and forth back and forth the kids kept wanting this and that but she never frowned. Asked if we wanted drinks to go since we were traveling and all. All I can say is small town hospilality at it's best. She gave us a card and asked us to send a email. Mr. Marion Kelly we just want you to know that we will never forget the Fatz Cafe at Exit 98 and will be back when we are traveling to GA again.

What a great meeting place for dinner we have found at Fatz in Bristol l! Every Tuesday night is like a "mini-vacation" for 6 of us who meet to dine on your great food ... enjoying the wonderful service of your friendly and gracious Fatz employees ... who treat us as friends. Fatz should feel proud to have such an excellent staff representing them.
We've been doing this every Tuesday night for about 2 years plus. If one of us is out of town and can't be here to join our little group, J. T. always stops by with a smile letting us know later ...that we were missed.
Lillian is a most gracious hostess, who is always busy seeing that everything is going smoothly.
Gina, our server, remembers what foods we particularly like ... and how we like it prepared. If there is something new available that she knows we might like, she tells us about it. She "looks out" for us, and we always look forward to seeing her ! Besides being an excellent server, she has a beautiful smile, warmth and is kind.
Fatz is a place where friends meet to eat good food .... laugh ... have fun .. and really don't want to leave !

It is exciting to see Fatz in Rock Hill reaching out to our community. The elementary school my children attend was able to have a Santa Breakfast at Fatz this morning. It was a wonderful event. The school community enjoyed a wonderful time with a delicious breakfast prepared by the Fatz staff. The manager was awesome. You could tell he wanted this event to be a success. In years past we have had our Santa breakfast in our school's cafeteria, but he offered to let us host it at his restaurant. All of his staff was so kind to everyone...and there were lots of kids there! I was so appreciative of his outreach to Ebinport that I did some Christmas shopping while I was there and purchased gift cards for some family members. Today it is hard to find people that truly care about customer service, but this is one place that puts a real value on it. Please know that you should be very proud of this restaurant. It might be an idea that others Fatz locations might want to consider. It sure left a JOLLY impression and helped us all to enjoy some Christmas spirit. We already have next year's event booked! Thank you for allowing me to share my thoughts with you.

I have never eaten at a Fatz Cafe until the other night. Everyone there was so nice and the food was excellent. The first time I ever had a steak that I didn't have to send back in a long time. My waitress, Renee, was so nice and polite. She seemed to really enjoy her job and it showed. She should be commended for her attitude and abilities. Hers is a thankless job as all the others are too when you wait on the public. Been there and done that. To cut it short, a really great place to dine. I'm sure all the others are the same as I have heard plenty of recommendations to try Fatz. You're a winner in my book. I travel about 75K a year and I now know where I can dine and relax and enjoy the atmosphere after a long day. Thank you for such a nice dining experience.

I want to thank Warren Caldwell, Service Manager, of the Winder, Georgia, Fatz Cafe. Mr. Caldwell went above and beyond with providing excellent Customer Service! Last night, Mr. Caldwell delivered to me in person at the Mcdonald's parking lot on Clairmont Road and I-85 in Atlanta,Ga. 30345, the $50 gift card and the two $5 Gift Certificates that came with the gift card. Mr. Caldwell said during our phone conversation yesterday morning, that he had to go visit a friend off of Clairmont last night and that was not out of his way to meet me with the card at the McDonald's parking lot. I had called yesterday to order the gift card for my sister-in-law's Christmas present from her Dad. Mr. Caldwell was going to mail them to me and he remembered me from my visit earlier to his restaurant on November 11,2009, when I had driven from Atlanta to Winder to purchase another $50 gift card for my sister-in- law's birthday, which was on 11/19/09. My sister-in-law, Beth Richardson, lives in Orangeburg, S.C. and she loves to go to the Fatz Cafe there. A gift card to Fatz was all she requested for both her birthday and Christmas from her elderly father, whom I help with his holiday shopping. Since there is no Fatz Cafe in Atlanta, I had driven on 11/11/09 to Winder to pick up the gift card for her birthday, so that I could wrap it up and mail to Beth's father, so he would have an actual gift box to give to Beth. She was so thrilled with the gift! While I was there talking with Mr. Caldwell, he told me that he was originally from Orangeburg, S.C. Also, he told me about the pictures of his father up in the Fatz Cafe there in Orangeburg. Mr. Caldwell and I had a great conversation about Orangeburg. Even on that day, I arrived before the Cafe opened at 11AM and I knocked on the door and explained to Mr. Caldwell, that I was the person that had called earlier that morning on the phone for directions from Atlanta and could I please come on in and purchase the gift card, as I had to be back in Atlanta at 1PM for a Doctor's appointment. Mr. Caldwell graciously let me in at 10:45 AM and I was back in my car on my way back to Atlanta with the gift card by 11AM. and I made it on time to my doctor's appointment! I really appreciate the extra effort to assist me with these gift cards and I really think your company should honor Mr. Caldwell for his excellence in customer service!!!! I was able to wrap up the gift card for Christmas and mail them out to my sister-in-law this morning. So, the box will be there under her tree for Christmas morning from her Dad!!! Maybe, Mr. Caldwell is Santa' helper right there in Winder's Fatz Cafe!!!! Merry Christmas to you all at Fatz and a Special Holiday thanks to Mr. Caldwell!!!

My associates and I frequent Fatz at least 2 times a week and often order take-out for our sales meetings. We have been coming to this location since it opened last year. We also send many of our out of town guests to Fatz and treat them to dinner at Fatz many times as well. Bottom line....we go there ALOT. The point of this message is to brag on Cari Loftis. She is extraordinarily friendly and well received by all of us from my work. But on one particular occasion, one of my clients, who had no idea how often we go to Fatz commented on Cari. When I told them that this location was the number one location in the chain they knew for certain that she was the reason that this location was number one. Of course I knew that this office was number 1 before Cari arrived, but the enthusiam that this particular client had about the service Cari offered struck me enough to make sure somebody in Corporate knew to what extent Cari is appreciated and well received. She always makes a point to greet us when we come in she always lets us know how much she appreciates our patronage. This goes along way for repeat business. We really enjoy coming to Fatz and the people and service is the primary reason. While I am on a roll, I will tell you that we most often sit in the bar area and Tammy and Gena have won our hearts as well. We love them and enjoy their company as well as attentive service.

Excellent server (Ashley). Both she and the manager Cliff took time to spend with me during my visit. Nice atmosphere, clean, efficient. Being open Thanksgiving is a great idea for those who don't have family or cannot get to family. My thanks to Ashley & Cliff.

I just wanted to let you know that our Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful thanks to y'all. I don't normally write to restaurants but I wanted to say thank you for making our day special! We had a real good waitress who treated me like family. I think her name was Leah, and all the managers and the rest of the wait staff made sure we were taken care of. We never needed for anything and the food was great! I loved that turkey dinner. We'll be back real soon.

For the first time ever, we ordered our Thanksgiving dinner, in all honesty a bit skeptical. JP assisted us with our order when we were there for dinner a few nights ago and had the order ready when specified and it was wonderful. Our guests all raved about the food. We know we love to go in and eat but were extremely happy with the food we brought home and served our guest for this special meal

I made the decision to have Thanksgiving dinner at Fatz based on the fact that we have never had a bad meal or service ever at Fatz. What I was not prepared for was the excellent manner in which we were recieved and made to feel as welcome as family. We were immediately greeted by several smiling faces at the door and seated promptly. There were six of us. Our waitress was so cheerful & perky. We felt very comfortable as we settled in for our "FEAST", and that's exactly what it was. We were so pleasantly surprised at how very good the quality of the food was. I really thought that maybe because of the sheer number of meals that had to be prepared that the quality might suffer a little. That never happened. The Turkey was moist the gravy & dressing were nice & warm & the sweet potato casserole was to die for. The pumpkin pie was one of the best we have ever had. We are the parents of five grown children and this was our first Thanksgiving alone. We were dreading it. Now we know we have a "family " to welcome us on Thanksgiving from now on. I hope you will continue this wonderful tradition for our sake & all the other "orphans" at Thanksgiving.

I had the fried green tomatoes--AGAIN--and tasted the sides on the traditional turkey dinner which some in my party ordered. Those sides were delicious. The consistancy and seasoning was delicate, not over- powering as sometimes experienced at my own table and at other restaurants. I hope you'll add more hot non-meat dishes. Your restaurant is the favorite of several of my friends.

We had the pleasure of dining with your staff on Thanksgiving Day this past weekend and I wanted to make sure management knew what a great experience we had. My son-in law is stationed at Ft. Gordan, he and my daughter moved to Evans just over two years ago when he was transferred there. We usually come up in our motorhome ahead of the holiday and stay on the lake, but this year our time was cut short due to business obligations and he is currently out of town on training, so we came by car and stayed at our daughter’s home for a real quick weekend. We left our home in Florida early Thanksgiving morning arriving in Evans at about 2:00. Rather than make my daughter cook we pre-agreed to go out when we arrived in town for dinner. My daughter suggested your restaurant because she heard your ad for a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner, we had hoped at best to find a restaurant with a Turkey Dinner Special, but your Thanksgiving Dinner was more than we had expected. We have eaten at this restaurant before and I have no complaints, the food and service is always above average. On a few occasions we were served cold soup, but it was always corrected quickly and very politely. I can remember on one occasion the second serving also came out cold and the manager was beside herself. She immediately came over, apologized for the problem and said she would not serve it again and threw it all out. She then took the soup off of our bill and gave all of us a complimentary dessert. We were very pleased with her attention to the situation as well as her response. Being in business I know situations happen and I judge a business more on the solution than the situation itself. The Thanksgiving Dinner however was exceptional! Having a traditional dinner already prepared and complete down to the pumpkin pie was a great idea and a welcome relief after 9 hours of driving. But more importantly and the true purpose of this letter is to inform you we were especially impressed with the entire staff. Everyone working in the restaurant is always friendly, but on this visit everyone was even more incredibly pleasant, even to the point of going out of their way to see that we were being well taken care of. Not one employee walked by our table without wishing us a Happy Thanksgiving and asking if we needed anything, the manager even came by three times! I know from personal experience working on a holiday is no treat, but there was not a bad attitude or sour face among any of your staff and that deserves recognition. Please express our gratitude to them for such a great experience. Being away from home on a holiday is also no fun, but for our short visit, we felt like part of your family! We look forward to our next trip to Evans and you can be assured it will include a lunch and/or dinner at your restaurant on our return.

We visited your place due to word of mouth and were we surprised. I can not tell you how much we enjoyed ourselves. It was perfect from start to finish. The waiter I believe Joel was fabulous. The food OMG was terrific. The timing of the service was no match to anywhere else I have been. Everyone at this establishment should be proud of the hard work and customer satisfaction they deliver. I tried to find something wrong because it is unusual to be this good and could not. I could go on and on but I think you get the point. Again, fabulous time and great staff. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

We always eat at this diner when we are in Savannah, this time we stopped because Delta Airlines had lost my bag and we had to wait an hour for it. Delta gave us a $7.00 meal coupon that we were sure Fatz would not honor, as it turns out your Hospitality Manager Dena Feniola gave us a discount in that amount. We were going to eat there anyway but that was very nice of her to do. By the way the food is always excellent at this location. Fatz is the only diner we go to frequently as my wife is a very good cook so the food has to be very good for us to go there. Thanks

This was our first visit to Fatz. We were greeted by Cari Loftis the manager and seated immediately. We were also greeted promptly by our server Catina. She brought us our drinks and a sample of the famous Calabash chicken. She was able to answer all our questions and make wonderful suggestions when asked about menu items. The food was served quickly and was very delicious! Cari came and chatted with us, and gave us a complimentary amazing peach cobbler! They made us feel very special and well cared for. It was an amazing dining experience. We came to NC looking for a new place to live. If this is any indication of how we can expect to be treated here, we can't wait to move here! Thanks for making our meal and visit so enjoyable. Cari and Catina were AWESOME! The restaurant was also clean and beautifully decorated! Thanks again!

I would like to thank you for excellent service, food, and atmosphere at our Fatz here in my home county. We love going to Fatz, because they are always going above and beyond to make sure our meals are perfect. The food is always cooked exceptionally well, and the restaurant is always immaculate. We have been to this Fatz many times, and we have always had the greatest waitresses. The hostesses are always kind, too. Recently, my husband had a mild stroke. We would visit Fatz after his rehab appointments, and the support we had there was just like from family. Without Fatz, we would have had a very difficult time dealing with this. Several folks had to make it possible for me to attend the restroom with my husband when he could not go alone. This was a great deal of trouble, but they made us feel like it was not a bother. They were very kind and accommodating. No other restaurant in Richmond County compares. We love our Fatz! Thank you for all you do. We especially appreciate the manager Mr. Watson and the waitress Hillary. They know how to make a meal special.

My husband and I had never eaten at Fatz before this evening when we chose the Warner Robins location over Cheddars. We were greeted and seated with professionalism and enthusiasm. Our server Mike was extremely pleasant and chatty without being intrusive. When we noticed the “Calabash” on the menu I commented about it because I grew up in the Coastal NC area with Calabash as a frequented area. Mike let the manager David know and the Chef who altered the fried shrimp dish to be more Calabash in style instead of simply fried shrimp.
My husband is a local Chiropractor who does ‘lunch and learn’ events, as well as, patient appreciation events and he will be using Fatz in the future for his events.
A VERY special thanks to Mike and his staff in the kitchen for going the extra mile and making our meal a pleasure.
Fatz of Warner Robins has been the single most inviting restaurant we have visited since locating here six months ago from the Metro Atlanta area. We dine out frequently and are accustomed to good food and service – Fatz has exceeded our expectations.
Our new favorite!
Thanks for a wonderful experience and we hope you’ll recognize your staff at this location.

My husband and I visited Fatz in Dublin VA on a Sunday night and we were blown away by the service we recieved from the entire staff. We stayed at a hotel across the street and this was the first time we visited Fatz and we will for sure be back every time we are in the Dublin area. The manager Brooke was so personable with us she not only asked us how our food and service was she went on to get to know us and asked where we were from and we had a lot more in common than either one of us expected. We have never been to a restaurant where both the server and manager went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Thank you so much Brooke and team we will be back to see you soon and she also let us know of other Fatz that are close to us in NC and we will visist those as well thanks to your Dublin team!

We were on our way back to Banner Elk, NC from a visit to the Biltmore in Asheville and had seen the Fatz in Marion on the way south that morning and the appearance was appealing and we thought it would be a good choice for Dinner. Little did we know just HOW good it would be. Tina B. was our server and was delightful from the start. When she found out it was our first visit to the resturant she offered us a sample of your WORLD famous Calabash Chicken. It was brought to us by both Tina and the managing partner of the resturant Doug Ellis. He was also very friendly and welcomed us both to the resturant and to the city of Marion. This was probably at 7:30 on a Friday night and the place was BUSY.....what a nice gesture, for the Manager to take time to bring out a sample! At that time he also offered us dessert ,"on the house". He said, "Just tell Tina the desserts are on me!" Well, naturally, the sample sold my wife on the Calabash Chicken and the rest of our party of four each enjoyed a different item from the menu, all were exceptional! As we were finishing our entrees, Doug happened to be near our table and I flashed him a thumbs up, just to indicate our satisfaction with the meal and the excellent service. Doug came over and again had a conversation with us and reiterited his desire for us to accept the "free dessert offer." We did and enjoyed the fresh peach cobbler and a brownie dessert some for each of us. I just wanted to take this opportunity to advise you of the wonderful people that you have operating this facility. We had nevere been to a Fatz before but I can assure you as we travel through the South we will be on the lookout for your resturants all because of the friendly service and GOOD food provided by your Marion, NC location and the Manager Doug Ellis and our Server Tina B. It was actually so memorable we talked about it on our way home the next day, a 12 hour drive back to the St. Louis metro area. I hope you will share this note with Doug and Tina so they may understand just how comfortable and welcomed they both made us feel on our brief but memorable visit to Marion, North Carolina.

I visited your restaurant on Tuesday with my companion and was impressed and wanted to tell you so you could commend your staff. A beautiful young gal, AnnMarie stopped by our table to visit with us, we needed some extra napkins and dressings, she went to get them, my friend had just lost her mother the previous week and was very upset, when AnnMarie listened and found out she went in the kiytchen and made us a special dessert to make us smile. This is why I love our small town, this would never happen in Columbia. I told her that we were so thankful for everything she did for us. She told us that it was her team, from her manager, to the chef in the kitchen to our waitress, to the lovely blonde who smiles and opens the door for us. Mr. Kelly, you have a superior staff at your restarant and I wanted you to know, how the extras that someone does for you really go further than you think.

It is easy to compliment a location/service a day or two after a pleasent experience (and perhaps I should have), but when that same enjoyable evening brings so many happy memories almost a month later - a compliment is LONG overdue. Shay was perfection in a waitress and the manager, Linda, ensured our evening was thoroughly pleasent. Both are sterling examples of individuals representing your company. We shall long have happy thoughts of FATZ and Florence, SC -- thanks to Shay and Linda. Best wishes to all of you at FATZ Cafe.

I would like to tell you why Fatz has just become our #1 place to go. When we first walked in, the greeters were so nice to our children. My 4 year old son walked in voicing his "desire" for pizza instead of Fatz! We went and sat down, and a few minutes later, the service manager, Scott Armstrong, brought out a pizza for my son - he went in the back and made it out of pita bread, marinara sauce, and cheese. My son loved it, and it made our night! We have always loved the staff - everyone is always so friendly and you really do feel that they care about your experience, not just the food. Scott went over and beyond that night, just to see a smile on a little child's face - and the parents. THAT is what service is about. My son still talks about the "pizza guy". Thanks Scott!

You continue to make what would normally be a slow Tuesday night in Bristol a success with your Classic Tuesdays. From the minute we walk in the door we are greeted by friendly staff. The menu just expanded and kept the favorites and added what looks to be super. In particulat our group of six are treated by a super waitress. Gina is friendly and personable and makes sure our needs are met. She knows the menu and whats available. If something is wrong, she makes it right. Our group looks forward to Tuesday nights with good and reasonably priced food and a warm and friendly staff. Well done! Bristol would be lost without you.

I love FATZ and the items specified in the list above deserve an excellent rating but I keep coming back because of flexibility and the empowerment you give to your employees. I was honored to be served again yesterday by Jennifer Blankenship. She is tops in my book. We had a party of five from our office. We all agree that FATZ is one of our favorite picks when taking visitors to our office out to lunch and your employees like Jennifer are the biggest reason why. She is always smiling and friendly and never balks at anything "special" you may ask for. She has a sense of humor and knows how/when to use it. What an asset you have in her! I commend FATZ for the training you obviously give your employees in how to treat your customers because this treatment has been pretty much the norm at FATZ. I'm always having to ask for substitutions or special instructions for the way my food is prepared...not a flinch! When it comes, I'm asked if that's the way I wanted it and I can tell it is important to her that she got it right. You're doing something right at FATZ; keep doing it!

After traveling to Roanoke, Va on Friday, October 23rd we stopped into Fatz in Dublin for an early supper. We had stopped several times trying to find a hotel room within our budget and had no luck .
Tracy Febro, the general manager at Fatz in Dublin came out to make her rounds of the dining room and made the mistake of asking how we were. We told her out plight and she offered to make a phone call.
Tracy went out of her way to take care of a road-weary couple. She found a room at the NRV Extended Stay hotel that was well within our budget.

I just wanted to write and let someone know how pleasant an experience I had while dining at Fatz. Marcus was our server and he was excellent, management made sure we were comfortable as well. I was having dinner with a friend from out of town. I had intended to take her to another restaurant (Cheddars) but it was very crowded, thus I recommended FATZ. We were treated very well. We stopped for dinner on the 19th, and fell in love with your restaurant right away. Our waitress Mary Kate was the best waitress we have ever had. She went out of her way to take care of us, and was very informative about how everything was prepared, and about the history of Fatz Cafe. The food was out of this world. I had the TC's Hard Cider Sampler, and I have to say that, that steak was the best steak I have ever had. I was a cross country truck driver for 20 years and have eaten all over the country, and as I said, that was the best. The flavor was outstanding. My wife had the ribs and shared a few bites with me and they rated right up there with the steak. My only regret is that you don't have any restaurants here in Indiana. Everyone I have talked to about our vacation, has heard nothing but praise for your restaurant. We had dinner the night before in Gatlinburg, TN at a pricey steak house and walked out $83.00 latter after eating the worst prime rib I have ever eaten. Everyone at your Orangeburg reststaurant was warm and friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel at home, and cheked with us quite often to make sure that everything was all right and to see if we needed anything. Everythig was clean and bright and just perfect. If we ever go south again (and probably will), we will definitely look for your restaurants. I hope someday you will put one up in Indianapolis. Thank you so much for such a wounderful experience.

Couldn't pick a favorite topic "please specify" everything was excellent: the atmosphere, music, pics on the walls, menu, food prepared to excellence; waitress, Elyse, was courteous and sweet and Kian Jarrahi, Manager, was very gracious and took time to speak with our party of 4. The shrimp bisque and veggie beef soup were both excellent and the side salads were more than expected. The peach cobbler dessert was scrumptious. I could go on and on about your restaurant. It was the first time for the 4 of us and we will be back and will tell others about it. Please don't ever dismiss your wonderful cooks. The sweet tea was very good too.

The moment I walked inside the restaurant I was greeted with a warm family atmosphere. We had the pleasure of Pika serving us for the evening. Even though the restaurant was busy, she took the time to joins us and made my family feel welcome like we were the only customers in the building. Pika entertained my children while we looked over our menu choices. Doug brought out our food and was very pleasant. The manager Mike is wonderful. I have never met a manager like him. You can really tell that he does an amazing job with his staff. He is well mannered, friendly, & a team player. I have never been to a restaurant were the managers were so delightful and helpful to their staff. I never once saw Mike sit back on the sideline and watch his staff. He was walking the floor and serving his customers. My husband and I eat out 4 to 5 times and week and I have never experienced the service that we were provided at your Camden location. I would just like to say that I've been to three of the Fatz locations in and around where I live and the one that I just visited in Cheraw SC was the best by a country mile. Compared to other restaurants we rate Fatz in Morganton at the top of our list. We appreciate Brian taking the time to visit our table and being truly interested in our conversation. He's one of us! I would just like to say "Thank You" to Fatz Cafe and its staff. I am the VP of Concessions for Mauldin High School in Mauldin, SC. We have developed a realationship with Jason Phillips and Maria Vieira. They have provided pre-game meals for our football players, T-shirts, koozies and cups for our cheerleaders to "toss" out into the crowds, Homecoming t-shirts for all our players and coaches. But most of all, they have helped us promote school spirit and community involvement. Our homecoming game was last weekend and both Jason and Maria came out and grilled hamburgers and hotdogs for our booster club to sell. It was an awesome time for everyone. Again, I would just like to say thank you to Jason, Maria aand the whole Fatz Family for supporting our school!

Karen Margolis is without a doubt, the best operating manager. She is so personable, always smiling, always courteous and helpful. She has always made my family and I welcome and settled any complaint or issue with food or service. Just the other day I had my grandson with me and we came in for lunch. He was fussy and crying and Karen came up to the table and spoke so sweetly to him that he quit crying and just started talking to her. She brought him some crackers to eat while his food was being prepared. The week before that, I came in alone for lunch and had an issue with my baked sweet potatoe. I was in a hurry and told my server that I didn't want to send it back. Well, he told Karen about it, and she went into the kitchen and came out with a new sweet potatoe that was cooked perfect. To me that was worth a million dollars. If all managers were as caring and customer conscious as Karen, then there would be a lot more successful businesses out there. I cannot say enough good things about Karen, she's great and she is alot of the reason that my family and I continue to frequent Fatz. Thanks Karen, you are a wonderful person and so well-suited to your job!

We were so pleased with our visit to this particular Fatz location. We have eaten at 6-7 different locations of Fatz but on the above day the manager Chris made sure that everything was satisfactory. He was very friendly and concerned that everything was satisfactory in every phase of the service. Our server Sunshine was one of a kind, fantastic! We have been eating at Fatz Cafe's since not long after it opened. We started out eating in the old peach building in Spartanburg sometime in the 80's. We live right out of Florence, SC and we were building a house in the Columbus-Saluda, NC area at that time and every time we went up, we automatically ate at Fatz. In all these years, it has only gotten better!

Passing through Athens to visit family, my wife and I had our first lunch at Fatz. While my fried green tomato sandwich was special, the service provided by Shay was extra special. Wow, what a bright, fun, efficient, well informed, well spoken waitress! She turned good food into a special event that will bring the McMullens back to Fatz the next time we are near Athens. Thank you Shay!

Just wanted to say that we enjoy eating at your establishment every Sunday. We have tried almost everything on the menu and each and every meal was delicious. Also, I would like to compliment you on your staff. Each and every one go out of their way to make our visit pleasant. Nurse Joy is our waitress and she is a very warm person. We also want to compliment you on your managers. We will recommend Fatz to all of our neighbors and friends.

I want to start off by thanking you for my dinner last Saturday evening. The food was amazing and everything came out in the right order unlike other local restuarants. The Shrimp Bisque was out of this world and my steak was grilled to perfection. My wife won't stop nagging me about going back for more of that chicken pot pie. She wants the recipe. We're new to the area and i believe we found a winner. My server was a heavy set fellow. I believe his name was Brandon. He was great and kept my kids entertained . When he found out it was our first time he gave us an e club application and a sample of your tender chicken. We'll be back before you know it - thanks again.

This is the 3rd visit that my husband and I have made to the Kingsport, TN Fatz this week. We are regulars and we are treated like friends by the hostesses and servers. We would like to brag on two servers who are our favorites: Eric and Nikki. Eric and Nikki treat us like we are their good friends. They know us by name and miss us when we don't come in. We always ask for them. They always seem happy to see us. They take time to talk with us and share personal moments. We feel like we are with friends when we eat at our local Fatz.

OK, last Friday was so good I brought my wife here for a dinner date today. We became even more a part of the Fatz family. The great friendly service we got the first visit last week was repeated and we had a one of the managers visit with us and really made us feel welcome! I think the clam chowder is the best I've eaten and I love the light breading on the shrimp and calabash chicken. I can't wait to try something different next time. We brought some of the peach cobbler home for breakfast.

It was an extremely positive experience all of the way around. I called your store on 09/28/09 and spoke with J.P., one of the managers who was on duty. She was very professional, friendly, and courteous from the start. I had many questions, and she was patient with answering every one of them to my satisfaction. We were only going to order a variety of soups from your store, but because of the positive reception and assistance I got when I called to inquire about the food and services, we ended up ordering soups, salad, and poppy seed rolls. They were all perfect including the dressings and other toppings. They were packaged nicely and promptly ready for pick-up upon arrival. And, the prices were reasonable. Our guests all raved about the soups, and most had seconds on all of the food items. We had to be honest and say that we did not make them but that we got them from your store. I feel confident that our guests will consider using you for their future events as will we. It is difficult to find good quality and customer service at the same place this day in time, so thank you for both and for making this such a positive experience for my friends and me. Keep up the great work!

What a delightful experience we had on our first visit, and many others since. The food is always great, servers go above and beyond the call of great customer service. And we were fortunate on our last visit to meet the manager who was a joy to talk with. We have a second home in nearby Hiawassee and this establishment has become our routine whenever we are in town.

I just want to say how impressed with Fatz Cafe I am. I sent an email last week about your honey mustard. I was impressed with the promptness of a response. (A very satisfactory one at that) Then I was contacted by the Evans store and the manager there (Brent Nash) had an employee bring to my house a quart of your honey mustard I love so much. I was soooo IMPRESSED! WOW what service. My friends and I have talked about on numerous occasions about the food and service of many a restaurant (as we like to have lunches and get togethers at various restaurants) and how so many don't really care what you think or what you want. We are not a complaining bunch but we do want to have good food and a good experience when we do go out and give our hard earned money to a restaurant and server. I must say that no matter what, I have always had a wonderful experience at Fatz. If there was a problem it was taken care of quickly and I was not made to feel like I was being a problem. A friend of mine first turned me onto Fatz and she is the one that first told me that the Evans Fatz was always so wonderful and having been there numerous times myself I surely agree. Thank you so much for your GREAT service and WONDERFUL food. I hope all your resturants are the same so that if I visit another one somewhere else I can expect the same. Brent Nash of the Evans Fatz went the extra mile and I am IMPRESSED, you don't find that very often these days. Around here I am spreading the news that Fatz Cafe in Evans is the place to go. Oh yeah Toni Magahee was the employee kind enough to deliver the honey mustard. A very sweet woman. Thanks guys!

A year ago in April my husband and I drove 9,953 miles around the coastal states of America. The highlight of the trip was our stop at the Fatz Cafe in Florence, SC. We always stop at a cafe that is not in California where lots of cars are parked. This was the place on this day. I'm a Kansas farm girl, so I am an expert on babyback ribs. We always split one order, and the Fatz Sampler looked best for us. The ribs were so flavorful and tender that they just fell off the bone and were even better than KC Ribs. My husband always orders chicken and the fried chicken was the extremely moist and the jumbo shrimp was the best we had ever eaten. The Operating Partner, Warren Snell, came by out booth and inquired about our meal. When we told him how great it was, he insisted that we try the Peach Cobler. I told him that we have a fruit orchard in California and never eat anything but ripe fresh fruit off of our own trees. What a surprise - that was the best cobler we have ever eaten and hard to believe from canned peaches. I have one complaint - Why don't you build a Fatz Cafe on I-5 here in Anderson, California. There would be standing room only at all times. What a great place with wonderful food, service and facility.
