Taylors, S.C. – Need something to warm you up during the chilly winter season, but don’t want to break your New Year’s resolution of eating healthier? Fatz Cafe may have the answer you’ve been looking for. The 40-unit Southeastern restaurant chain and home of World Famous Calabash Chicken recently added a few figure-friendly, nutritious items to its versatile soup menu. These two new organic soups, which are also vegetarian, are perfect for those who prefer a broth-based or heartier soup over heavier, cream-based options:
- Organic Minestrone Soup- Light and fresh, this vegetarian soup features diced tomatoes, kidney beans, red bell peppers, zucchini and sweet fennel, cooked with shell pasta in a rich broth seasoned with basil, garlic and oregano.
- Organic Vegetarian Chili with Four Beans- This hearty vegetarian chili features black, pinto, kidney and garbanzo beans along with diced tomatoes, red bell peppers, zucchini and green chiles and is seasoned with jalapeño, cilantro and smoky chipotle.
