Cafe Enterprises Brings Popular Southeastern Restaurant Concept To Cheraw And Creates 120 New Jobs
Fatz Cafe’s Casual, Family-Friendly Restaurant Will Open Early 2008

Cheraw, S.C. - Cafe Enterprises, the parent company of Fatz Cafe, a 40-unit Southeastern restaurant chain and home of World Famous Calabash Chicken®, is bringing its casual, family- friendly restaurant concept to Cheraw, S.C. With plans to open in late January, the new Fatz Cafe will be located at 973 Chesterfield Highway and will create 120 new job openings for associate managers, kitchen and service staffs.
General Manager Will Allison will lead the Cheraw location, which will be Fatz Cafe's first restaurant opening of 2008. The restaurant will seat 168 guests and includes a full-service bar and separate take-out entrance. All Fatz Cafe restaurants, including the new Cheraw location, are open seven days a week for lunch and dinner and offer menu items that include fresh salads, appetizers, soups, sandwiches and desserts. Entrees include steak, seafood, pasta and Fatz Cafe's World Famous Calabash Chicken®.
