Cheraw Residents Now Have Additional Dining Option With Opening Of Fatz Cafe

Cheraw, S.C. - Cafe Enterprises, the parent company of the Southeastern restaurant chain Fatz Cafe, recently opened its doors for business in Cheraw, S.C., on January 28, 2008. Home of World Famous Calabash Chicken®, Fatz Cafe has a guest-driven philosophy and offers a wide selection of traditional American fare with a distinct Southern influence.
The Cheraw restaurant, located at 973 Chesterfield Highway, is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week and offers menu items that include fresh salads, appetizers, soups, sandwiches and desserts. Entrees include steak, seafood, pasta and Fatz Cafe's World Famous Calabash Chicken. Restaurant operating hours are 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Sunday.

The new restaurant, which seats 168 guests and includes a full-service bar and separate takeout entrance, features an updated rustic design with a comfortable, lodge-like feel. Parent company Cafe Enterprises, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, was also recently ranked in Grant Thornton LLP's 2007 South Carolina 100SM list of the largest privately held companies in the state.
