Fatz Cafe Promotes Tommy Union To Operating Partner At Warner Robins Restaurant
August 19, 2008
Warner Robins, Ga. – Tommy Union, a middle Georgia native working his way up through the foodservice industry, is taking another big step by becoming Operating Partner for Fatz Cafe's Warner Robins restaurant – a casual-dining concept founded on superior guest service, top-quality food and great value.
“Tommy has been part of the Warner Robins success since the very beginning and has shown great promise every step of the way,” said Richie Cannon, vice president of operations for Cafe Enterprises, parent company of Fatz Cafe. “He is an asset to the Fatz Cafe family, and we are excited to continue watching him lead the team at the Warner Robins restaurant.”
The cornerstone of Cafe Enterprises’ success is the Operating Partner program, a unique management structure that attracts and retains stable, experienced managers and promotes pride of ownership for each Operating Partner. With support from the company’s management team, restaurant Operating Partners have significant autonomy and this creates an ownership attitude that strengthens the company’s commitment to exceptional guest service and satisfaction.
Union, who has 14 years of food service industry experience, strives to continue Fatz Cafe’s tradition of superior service and hospitality. “It is a true honor to be named an Operating Partner for Fatz Cafe,” said Union. “When you walk into our door, you aren’t just another number, but a true “regular” guest that we want to get to know and welcome into the restaurant.”
The Warner Robins Fatz Cafe, located at 2715 Watson Boulevard, is one of seven restaurants in Georgia. Other Georgia locations include Athens, Blairsville, Evans, Jasper, Pooler and Winder. Offering classic American fare with a southern influence, Fatz Cafe is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week and offers menu items that include fresh salads, appetizers, soups, sandwiches and desserts. Entrees include steak, seafood, pasta and Fatz Cafe’s World Famous Calabash Chicken®.
