Fatz Cafe’s New Lunch Specials Offer Same Great Taste At An Affordable Price

Taylors, S.C. – If you’re looking for a lunch spot that offers everything from crispy chicken tenders tenders to piping hot soup and crisp, fresh salads, your local Fatz Cafe may be your next weekday lunch stop. Starting Monday, June 16, the 43-unit Southeastern restaurant chain and home of World Famous Calabash Chicken offers guests new lunch specials that are easy on the wallet yet filling and satisfying. Fatz Cafe’s Create-Your-Own Combo, a favorite among many, allows guests to create any combination from a list of delicious soups, salads, half sandwiches, french fries and hearty baked potato for $5.99. Fatz Cafe just expanded that offering with new Create-Your-Own combo salads topped with a choice of fire-grilled chipotle chicken, Fatz Cafe’s World Famous Calabash Chicken or smoked turkey and ham for an additional dollar.
Also new to Fatz Cafe’s lunch menu is the Angus Beef Slider Tower, a mouthwatering midday meal featuring a triple-stack tower of mini Angus beef burgers on buttered, grilled buns and topped with cheddar cheese, dill pickle chips, tomato slices, Fatz Cafe’s “special sauce” and a side of french fries.“Our new lunch menu was designed for variety and affordability,” said Eric Holman, vice president of concept/menu development of Cafe Enterprises, parent company of Fatz Cafe. “Lunch guests can choose from classic Fish & Chips, Country Club chicken salad or Southern Gold Ribs and Calabash Chicken among others and leave the table feeling like they had a meal worth the price.”
The new lunch specials, available Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., range from $5.99 to $7.99 and complement Fatz Cafe’s full menu of fresh salads, appetizers, soups, sandwiches and entrees including steak, pork, chicken and seafood. In March 2008, Fatz Cafe introduced a new selection of specialty drinks and desserts for those craving something on the sweeter side.
