Pooler Community Has New Dining Option With Popular Southeastern Restaurant Fatz Cafe

Pooler, Ga. - Cafe Enterprises, the parent company of the Southeastern restaurant chain Fatz Cafe, opens its door for business today in Pooler, Ga. Home of World Famous Calabash Chicken, Fatz Cafe is a casual, family-friendly restaurant that focuses on a guest-driven philosophy and offers a variety of traditional American fare accented with a unique southern influence.
The new Pooler restaurant, located at 400 Pooler Parkway, is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week and offers a variety of menu items that include fresh salads, appetizers, soups, sandwiches, specialty drinks and desserts. Entrees include steak, seafood, pasta and Fatz Cafe’s World Famous Calabash Chicken. Restaurant operating hours are 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Sunday.
“Since bringing Fatz Cafe to Georgia in 2004, we have seen such a positive response from guests that we are now in five Georgia towns,” says Ralph Defelice, general manager of Fatz Cafe of Pooler. “This will be our first Georgia opening in 2008, and we are thrilled to give the people of Pooler more casual dining restaurant options.”Fatz Cafe of Pooler seats 168 guests and includes a full-service bar and separate takeout entrance. The restaurant features an updated rustic design with a comfortable, lodge-like feel and offers ESP Systems technology, the newest guest-driven technology in casual dining allowing guests to have more control over their dining experience.
Parent company Cafe Enterprises, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, owns and operates restaurants throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Virginia, and plans to further expand its Southeastern footprint with a total of seven Fatz Cafe openings in 2008.
